How to Use this Essential Oil Blend
#1: Have it Ready
From the moment you wake up, the battle for your morning energy has begun.
To quickly show that morning sluggishness who’s boss, have your blend (or at the very least the blend ingredients) and your exposure method (diffuser, topical massage, etc) as ready to go as possible!
#2: Don’t sit with the fragrance. Move with it.
This blend will serve you best if you move with it.
Do some stretches. Dance around to a nice wake-up song. Or if you’re ambitious, do a little yoga or some jumping jacks.
As you move, savor the fragrance rather than letting your mind think about going back to bed.
#3: Let your movement take you straight to a drink of water.
We often get dehydrated while we sleep. And that dehydration contributes to our fatigue.
Before you fully adjust to the smell of the blend, get a drink of water in you.
Bonus points if the water is cold and you splash a little on your face!
Pro tip 1: Never hit your snooze button. Valuable sleep comes in 90-minute cycles. So if you’re going to get up in the next 90 minutes, it’s best to get up now.
Pro tip 2: Your nose will take about 20 minutes to adjust to the smell of this blend if you are diffusing it. Set a goal to keep moving, if only lightly and gently, for the first 20 minutes of your day. After that, when you can no longer smell the blend, you should be ready to fully embrace your day.
