A {Not So Secret} Santa Scanning Party

Frosted window panes, candles gleaming inside, painted candy canes on the tree, Frank Sinatra knew that the holidays just couldn’t get any better than that. But we’re willing to bet that ol’ Franky never attended a holiday-themed scanning party before. Who wouldn’t want a chance to gather together as friends for a night full of hot cocoa, Christmas treats (check out one of our favorite essential oil dessert infused treats here), personalized make and take gifts, and of course, an iTOVi scan? As the holidays draw closer and closer, join in the festivities and host your own {Not So Secret} Santa Scanning Party! The fun twist on this party is that to attend, your guests need to bring a plus one.

As your guests arrive, have them and their plus one get a scan with your iTOVi. We recommend waiting until all of the scans have occurred and then explaining to your guests what exactly their wellness report is and means. Maybe your guests are already familiar with your iTOVi scanner but what about their partners? See what you did there? The necessary plus one aspect of your party immediately opens the door to twice as many potential clients as a normal scanning party may have.

Once you’ve explained the scan report, now comes the Not-So-Secret Santa part. Have your guests exchange their phones, tablets, or whatever device they are using to view their scan report and explain that the make and take gifts that they’ll create are actually for their party partner! Here are some of our favorite make and take ideas that are simple enough for a novice oiler to make and exciting enough for anyone to want!

Sugar Scrub
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons olive/almond oil
  • 4 drops of any essential oil (can be all one oil or a combination)

Mix ingredients together and store in a stainless steel or glass container.

Bath Salts
  • 1/2 cup sea salt
  • 1/2 cup Epsom salt
  • 6 drops of any essential oil (can be all one oil or a combination)

Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. Store in a stainless steel or glass container.
